Jordan Spiz’ike “Cool Grey”

Film director Spike Lee has always been at the forefront of American culture. As an avid basketball fan, his love for the New York Knicks is well known, much like the character Mars Blackmon he portrayed in his 1986 film She’s Gotta Have It. This iconic character has been featured in numerous Nike Air Jordan commercials in the late 80s and early 90s, solidifying Michael Jordan’s footwear brand to what it is today. The Jordan Spiz’ike line of sneakers are a tribute to Lee’s contributions and combines elements from Jordans 3, 4, 5, 6, and 9 silhouettes, resulting in a unique shape that is befitting of the Jordan brand. The newest colorway to drop is the Jordan Spiz’ike “Cool Grey” that combines elements of paint splatter and elephant print on a mostly black silhouette. The newest colorway will drop on May 20.
