With the colder months approaching, it’s time to layer your outfit with light jackets and soft sweaters to keep warm. Although the warmth provided by these garments can do the job, there’s nothing warmer than embracing someone you love in your arms. Cuddly sweaters may be inviting, but why not wear something more subtle yet more inviting to feel the embrace of the woman in your life?
The Dior Sauvage is a new scent created by François Demachy, Dior Perfumer-Creator, with the idea of strong and unmistakable masculinity that is raw and noble at the same time. Difficult to imagine what this imagery will smell like, but Demachy did a superb job of condensing that exact scent into a small bottle. The initial scent of citrus that is fresh at first may feel familiar to the point where it may seem generic. However, after a dry down period, it fully develops into its own leaving a subtle yet sophisticated hint of what the creator had in mind. It’s not overtly obviously like some colognes that hit you in the face. Rather, it is an intimate fragrance that can be enjoyed by someone you’re holding close.
Although the name Dior Sauvage is provocative and conjures up images of raw masculinity, we’d like to think of the scent as an appropriate embodiment of a more gentle masculinity that is inviting, perfect to hold someone close in time for the cold.
