The NikeLab Free Inneva line of sneakers were always a hit or miss for sneakerheads, ranging from loving the comfort and breathability of the original to harsher opinions stating that the shoe looked like it a horrific accident involving multiple seatbelts. The sneaker was a success for Nike, and to follow up NikeLab’s second take on the sneaker retains many traits that made the Free Inneva while adding more upscale touches.
The biggest difference from the first model to the second is the suede panels that break up the nylon webbing, creating a more cohesive design that should appease critics of the original. The Nike Free 5.0 midsole and webbings should maintain the natural feeling of the shoe as well as excellent breathability.
